No, these blades are specially manufactured and will only work on units designed for the STX™ blades.

No, it will not work.  Only Jiffy® Power Ice Drills use high-speed, single reduction gearboxes.  These gearboxes turn the ice drills counter-clockwise.  All other drills turn clockwise.

No, ALL Jiffy® Power Ice Drills use the same high-speed gearbox containing hardened steel gears.  The Jiffy® Power Ice Drill gearbox is a single stage design with a 12:1, 15:1, or 24:1 gear ratio.

Jiffy® uses a standard size propane tank available at most outlet, convenience, hardware, or department stores.

Propane is one of the cleanest burning fossil fuels used today.  Propane is listed as an approved, clean fuel in the 1990 Clean Air Act and the Energy Policy Act of 1992.  Tests conducted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency show that propane-fueled vehicles produce 30-90% less carbon monoxide and about 50% fewer toxins and other smog-producing emissions than gasoline engines. Propane is also nontoxic so it's not harmful to soil or water.  

The weight of the 46 X-TREME engines are approximately 32 to 35 pounds depending on drill assembly size.

Run time for each tank of propane under load is approximately 45 to 60 minutes on the equivalent of 3/4 of a tank of gasoline in a 2-Cycle engine.  Average conditions should allow about 100 to 150 holes through 24 inches of ice.
 

The drill assembly will be turning at approximately 600 RPM.
